Fresh Starts and New Beginnings
I love fresh starts and new beginnings
(maybe that’s why I became an Interior Designer…to give places and the people in the them a whole new outlook?!)
Since I’m newly connected to many of you, I thought I would introduce myself :)
My name is Tamara (rhymes with camera) 📸
but I’m also known as The Design Boss around the office.
That fellow in the photo with me is my very special guy, my ‘ride or die’…
We’ve had some fresh starts and new beginnings ourselves, and I’m proud of that since it means we’ve weathered some storms together and we keep on choosing each other to go through life with. 💕
We are both in the construction industry…
He, as a Developer of urban infill properties and property financing,
and me, as a commercial Interior Design firm owner.
We often get to work on projects together, which is amazing, but also comes with its own set of unique challenges (if you work with family or loved ones, you know exactly what I mean!) 🙈 🙉 🙊

I’m a 2nd generation San Diego native and proud of my lovely city.

I love sharing design inspiration- many of them are my own projects.
- 3I have a wicked sense of humor that often seeps into my posts.

I am supremely positive minded- my glass is always overflowing (hopefully with a buttery chardonnay!)

I’ve got a travel bug and have been to many unusual places, including Antarctica (it was amazing!)

I love animals & nature and spend a lot of my free time with them.

I hate coffee ☕ ..can’t even stand the smell of it (so when people suggest a coffee meeting I twist my face up in a not-so-attractive way, and always say no).
